Lead poisoning can cause serious and permanent health problems that may not be revealed for years.
The good news is that lead paint was banned from use in the United States in 1978, but it may still be found on pre-1978 houses or other structures. Lead paint can remain dangerous for decades and create a major health issue for both homeowners and children.
